Ex Libris South-central Users Group (ELSUG) announces its Fall 2011 meeting.

DATES:  Monday, October 24 (full day) and Tuesday, October 25 (half day)

[Plan to arrive on Sunday, October 23 and depart either Tuesday, October 25, or Wednesday, October 26.]

LOCATION:  Lake Point Conference Center at Arkansas Tech University

[LPCC is about 3 miles west of the main Russellville campus]

LODGING:  There are 50 rooms in two lodges at LPCC – 17 of these have 2 full beds; 33 rooms have one queen bed (downstairs) or one full bed (upstairs); rooms will be around $70/night plus tax; room costs will include a night owl package of snacks & beverages in each lodge common room & kitchenette after 5pm – you may make your reservations now [you may also select a local hotel, if you prefer, probably for a little more money; we recommend either Hampton Inn or Fairfield Inn near the university, but there are several other options].

SESSIONS:  We are planning 12-18 concurrent sessions (a call for presenters will follow at a later date) and an Ex Libris company update; your ideas for programs are welcome.

MEALS:  Registration fees will include a lunch, a snack & beverage break, 2 beverage breaks, and a dinner; there will also be an optional box lunch available on Tuesday at the end of the conference, if selected on the registration form; all food options will be described more fully on the registration website (TBA).

REGISTRATION:  The registration fee should be no higher than $75-$80; a registration form will go live on the conference website by mid-August; the conference website is in development and will be announced on this list when available.

The host library and major sponsor is the Ross Pendergraft Library & Technology Center.  Other sponsors are welcome!
